  • Global Airlines Founder and CEO James Asquith speaks on the second day of the Dubai Airshow alongside Riyadh Air, FitsAir and Beond

  • Asquith also appeared last week at World Travel Market in London and will speak at CAPA World Aviation Summit in Abu Dhabi on 28 November

Global Airlines’ Founder and CEO, James Asquith, yesterday spoke on a panel at the VISTA conference at the Dubai Airshow. This followed his appearance on an expert panel at the World Travel Market in London last week.

In Dubai, Asquith appeared alongside senior executives from Riyadh Air, FitsAir and Beond, where he spoke about progress to date for the new A380 carrier as well as the airline’s expectations for the coming months.

The panel sessions in Dubai and London both focused on the passenger experience. When asked about what Global will bring to the market, Asquith talked about how the A380 will be integral to the overall proposition as well as how the airline will leverage the latest technology to offer an agile, personalised service to customers.

Asquith believes that Global will be able to take advantage of new technologies in terms of sales, engagement, on-board product, sustainability and in the turn-around process. He also expressed a wish to work with new companies who have an ambition to grow their profile and penetrate the aviation market.

James is set to speak at the CAPA Aviation Summit in Abu Dhabi on November 28th.
